Island Time

And then the party was over.......
But we still had two weeks left of vacation- tours, sight seeing, eating and drinking and living life American style.
We had a couple days left on the island so the Spanish headed over to the Greenbank farm by themselves while I went and spent time with my mom's side of the family because it was still the family reunion.

We took a trip to Fort Casey to check out the old military fort. We climbed up and down ladders and took pictures with the big cannons.

Forty Casey is right by the Port Townsend ferry and the spanish loves ferries so we took it over, had lunch and walked around the town. It was a bummer it was still raining but luckily it stopped after lunch so it wasn't too bad.

The best part of the day was on the ferry ride back to Whidbey. The ferry started to slow down and the captain made an announcement and said off to the left side of the boat there are two Orca whales! Everyone ran outside and started taking pictures. I've never seen Orcas before so it was pretty neat and a great tourist bonus for my spaniards!
Orcas (there are two for real)
Back on Whidbey and our little ferry
Back on the island we went to Coupeville to tour around the little town and stopped at Toby's for some wine- Pepo really likes the big glasses!
