Flying to Seattle!

Vacation! Finally!!! Every year, around June I start getting the itch to get out of this country! It is bad but true. Every cultural difference that I have been good at accepting or putting up with, now gets of my nerves. I don't want to speak any more spanish, I don't want to see any more Spanish people or have any more classes. I want to go home where I don't have to think when spoken to, I can go to Fred Meyer and buy all sort of things I can't buy here, I can eat all the food I only eat once a year. My mom and dad will cook, clean and do pretty much everything for me and I can sit and watch the Today show and Ellen! Spoiled, I know!
This year on top of all the Spanish hatin', I have a baby, who for the last month or two, (I have lost count), has forgot how to sleep and has become mobile. Our nice routine of playing by herself, on top of the bed or on the floor while I go to the bathroom or cook lunch is gone. Night time has become hell time, so knowing that my mom was going to be there to help me and there would be tons of people to entertain her, this vacation sounded even more wonderful.
But first we had to deal with a 14+ hour travel day with an 8 month old. We prepared for the very worst and with lady luck on our side, Gabriela did amazing on both flights. We were very lucky.
We arrived to Seattle on a beautiful, sunny day. We were surrounded by water, green trees, and English! Heaven!!
