Mieres Espicha

An espicha is like a buffet. It is a bunch of food, all put out together on tables and eaten with a lot of sidra. The food is mostly appetizer, aka tapa, type food. It is one of my favorite things so when we heard Pablo's friends were planning one we stayed an extra day in Mieres so we could go.
There were 22 people and we rented a room in this sidreria up in the mountains above Mieres. The menu for the espicha was different then the ones I went to before because there was a ton of crab. There was also jamon and cheese, chorizo, two kinds of tortillas (spanish omelet), pork with potatoes and lots of sidra. Pablo's friends brought music and it was a full on fiesta.
