Seattle Trip Week 1

We took our annual summer trip to Seattle and this time with an 18 month old. It was our first flight with an ipad and it saved us even if it created a cartoon watching crazy girl! We figured it was only 14 hours of her life so she can overdose! Gabriela did really good on the flights but she could not sleep. She tried so hard but airplane seats are not comfortable! Luckily she slept our entire layover in Philidelphia so she wasn´t going completely psycho.

We lucked out and got a row to ourselves

We spent the first few days with Papa and Gigi and enjoyed the nice weather. Gabriela got to expierence her first popsicle man. Pablo signed up for a trail race in Monroe our second day in Seattle! Crazy but he had fun. Then after that we all went to the Mariner game and sat in the cheap seats. It was so hot we spent most of the time walking around. Gabriela had fun but with jet lag she was barely functioning. But the whole reason for going was to run around the bases after the game. Pablo wanted to do it so bad and brought Gabriela as his excuse. After waiting a half hour in line they finally came through the tunnel and ran around the bases. Gabriela did great, met the moose and got a certificate.

We spent the next view days with Nana and Gabriela got a Mickey Mouse doll and a new table and chairs that she sat in everyday in the backyard. Gabriela also got some quality play time with her cousins Kellen and Lilly at the Edmonds waterfront. Playing in the water right next to the ferry. We were surprised Gabriela wasn´t afraid of the water and ran right in. A month and a half before in Menorca she seemed so afraid of the water. We are glad she got over it because she had so much fun.
