G's Wedding

We had such a great time at G's wedding and enjoyed the cute area where she lives now. We rented a beach house in the tiny town of North Beach, MD, about 45 minutes outside D.C., and the wedding was at G's house in a nearby town out in the country. Everything was very pretty, green and right on the water. It made me miss Seattle a lot.
The tiny town was so friendly everyone said hello! There was a  few shops, a nice bakery for breakfast and a tiny little beach and pier. It was very relaxing.

G had a lot of wedding festivities planned and they included a BBQ on Friday night which we went to and had hamburgers and hot dogs, the wedding Saturday and brunch on Sunday before we took off for the airport. The wedding on Saturday was beautiful and G did almost everything herself. It was in their backyard and they got married underneath a beautiful tree. They had a little barn/shed that hosted the beer and wine and appetizers and the dinner was great BBQ. It reminded me a little of what I wanted my wedding reception to look like if it didn't rain and we spent the whole time in the boat house!
The best part for Pablo was seeing a different culture! The groom was from Oklahoma so we had a lot of cowboy hats and boots around and a lot of sir's and ma'ams. It was pretty entertaining to watch Pablo's reaction and funny for me too because I'm never around people from the south either. They were all really nice and oh so polite!
Pablo and girls had fun drinking all the wine and then dancing the night away. It was a beautiful wedding and we are so glad we went to share the special moment with Jenny and Zach. Plus it is such a great feeling to see old friends and feel like no time has passed even though I hadn't seen some of them in 4 years.
We look good, we know! :)
