Sunday Stroll

Sunday we joined the madrileños in the Latina neighborhood for the traditional flea market called the Rastro. We braved the massive amounts of people to make our way through the booths of random clothes, jewelry, hats, antiques, music and everything else you can think of. We enjoyed cañas and tapas along the way and made our way to the Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor and the new revamped Mercado San Miguel. After lunch we made our way to the Cathedral and Royal Palace, Plaza de Oriente where our dream apartment is located and then to the Plaza España. We accomplished a full day of walking the streets of Madrid and returned home exhausted!
