San Isidro is an annual festival in the city of Madrid. Isidro is the patron saint of Madrid and that means he is special, so special that everyone gets a day off! The festival though, lasts four days and there is a carnival and many activities throughout the city. Many people dress up in the traditional dress called Chalapa for the ladies and Chalapo for the gents. We dressed Gabriela up and she looked so adorable that we paraded her through the streets of Madrid. Pablo's family was visiting so we had an adventure downtown.
