New Years in Asturias

After our long flight home we picked up Goonie at the babysitters, unpacked, repacked and headed up to Mieres to be with Pablo's family for New Year's Eve. There, we continued on the food train, eating some traditional spanish food and drinking lots of wine! For New Year's Eve we had a great dinner feast, ate our grapes and had our Spanish family Christmas.... aka more presents!
Pablo was a good boy and ran the traditional San Silvestre race in Mieres. I was too jet-lagged and out of shape that I couldn't do it.
