We made it a year! We can't believe how fast it has gone. Not only was it our first year of marriage but our first complete year living together and my first complete year in Spain. There were a lot of learning curves but we survived and are ready to take on year #2.
Originally we wanted to plan a trip to celebrate but a few factors like moving, money and family in town didn't make it possible so we decided to postpone the trip. Instead we dressed ourselves up and went to the center for dinner. We went to a touristy restaurant that was very much overpriced but it ended up being really good. We had a very nice date night to celebrate our special day.
Before we went to dinner we opened one of our wedding wines to celebrate and drank it in our favorite bar- our dinning room.
