Christmas in Seattle

This year we celebrated Christmas in Seattle. As a long standing agreement between Pablo and I, we agreed from the beginning that we would go to Seattle every other year to celebrate Christmas. This year was the first year we did this with a kid. We had one week off to fly half way across the world, twice, see all my family and show off the wonder baby that is Gabriela. She made sure to make it is as difficult as possible!
It was a lot different flying with a walker than it was last summer with a non-walker. The flight there was pretty difficult but luckily for us flights end. Not so lucky is the jet lag that always seems to linger and linger and linger. But we tried to make the most of our short trip. My mom and dad had their houses filled with Christmas decorations and all was very festive. We ate amazing food and saw as many people as we could. Pablo and I even had a date. It was a whirlwind but so great to be home for Christmas. I have to admit my family knows how to do Christmas!!
