Churros Adventure

Last weekend Pablo had a craving for churros and chocolate (hot chocolate). So we decided after his game on Saturday we would stop and buy some and bring them home. It has been very cold lately so the hot churros and chocolate sounded good. Pablo new a place very close to where he plays his games so we stopped by. But it was closed. So we headed home and decided to stop off in the neighboring, neighborhood to see if we could find a place. No luck.
We had read about people asking about where to buy churros in our neighborhood forum and we couldn't really remember what they said so Pablo decided to google it. He found a post that said there was one in another neighborhood by the wine store so we home.
Nope, nothing there, drive around the neighborhood, find nothing.
We end up driving by where I think they are going to open a churro place but no one is sure when it will open. We stop and I get out and look- not open yet. Head towards home and stop at a bakery on the way. They don't sell churros.
I remember another place that was mentioned in the forum so we head over there. Closed.
There is another bakery around the corner so we stop there. We go in and ask do you have churros and chocolate. She says, yes we do. ALRIGHT! She asks how many do you want. Pablo asks to see them so we can judge size. She says they are over here.....walk over...... oh wait..... NO MORE churros!
POR DIOS!
After an hour of searching we go home empty handed. We figure churro places are only open in the morning so we try again Sunday morning. We drive by the first churro place on the way to my game to see if it is open...yes it is. We decide stop there after my game. Fast forward 1 hour, stop at churro stand....CLOSED!
Game over! It is a lost cause.
Then Pablo decides he is going to try and make them at home. Here is what he came up with

Frying up the churros
Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar
Homemade hot chocolate for dipping
