Gabriela's First Race

We made this race in Bargas (Toledo) a family affair as each one of us participated in a race! Poor Goonie!!! First it was daddy's turn, running in the first race of the day. It was foggy and freezing, so cold in fact that Gabriela's nose started bleeding. I was a little concered that we weren't going to be able to stay long because Gabriela was doing so bad, but luckily after the first race and just before my race the fog burned off and it turned into bright and sunny day. My race was next and I ran a slow but steady 1.2 miles. Then it was Gabriela's turn in the youth race. It was 700 meters around the park. She ran with daddy and did the whole thing, a combination of running and walking and a little help from daddy. They came in last but were by far the cutest team out there! It was a great family day for us being able all participate and have fun together. This season has ended but next year we will all be ready to go!
